Aki and Haru, high school classmates, attend different universities but begin sharing a house in a quiet neighborhood. Aki loves cooking, while Haru takes care of the cleaning, and their easy, close-knit life together is warmly watched over by friends and Haru’s older sister, Rikka. As the two enjoy their carefree days, Haru, an art student, discovers a passion for photography after his snapshots of Aki earn praise from a professor. Meanwhile, Aki struggles to find a direction for his future and becomes increasingly anxious about job hunting. When Haru is offered the chance to study photography in the UK, he hesitates to tell Aki, who already seems overwhelmed with his own worries. But when the secret comes out at a Halloween party, Aki is hurt that Haru never confided in him. As their futures begin to diverge, the comfortable life they built together is suddenly threatened by distance, uncertainty, and unspoken feelings.
